This church building was built here on this site in 1908. 

The Marietta Church of Christ was established in 1968 to help meet the growing needs of a small river town that was the flurry of activity during the steamboat, sternwheeler and barge times. 

The church was established in 33 A.D.  Acts Chapter 2.
